Ted Kuester CPCU, CBIA

Ted attended John Tyler Community College and University of Richmond.  His degree is in Business Management.  Beginning his insurance career as an underwriter for USF&G and then the Aetna Casualty, he eventually went to the agency side and became an owner of Grinnan, Harris, Tabb & Co., Inc.. After 17 years, he sold that agency to HRH of Richmond and by contractual agreement, worked for them for 2 years.  In 1999 Ted co-founded GHT Insurance Agency, Inc. and is currently one of the co-owners. Ted holds the following insurance designations: C.P.C.U. (Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter); C.B.I.A. (Certified Builders Insurance Agent); and C.W.C.A. (Certified Workers Compensation Advisor).  In his spare time, Ted enjoys playing music & entertaining at festivals and other events, walking his two 100 LB bloodhounds, spending time with his 5 grandchildren, and volunteer work for an annual ballet performance at the strong urging of his wife, Robin.
