GHT Insurance Helps Raise $45,398 for Comfort Zone Camp

GHT Insurance Services, in partnership with Comfort Zone Camp's Regional Advisory Council (RAC), proudly supported the 11th Annual Battle of the Bags Charity Cornhole Tournament on May 2nd, 2024. Held at the Sports Center of Richmond (SCOR), this event brought together teams and sponsors to raise an impressive $45,398 for Comfort Zone Camp, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children who have experienced the death of a loved one.

About Comfort Zone Camp

Comfort Zone Camp is a 501(c)3 bereavement organization that transforms the lives of children who have lost a parent, sibling, primary caregiver, or significant person. Through trust-building activities and age-based support groups, these camps help children ages 7-17 (and young adults 18-25) break the emotional isolation that often accompanies grief.

Event Highlights

• 52 Teams Participated: This year's tournament featured 52 teams, all competing to support a worthy cause.
• $45,398 Raised: Thanks to the generosity of our participants, sponsors, and donors, we raised $45,398 to support Comfort Zone Camp.
• 57 Child Sponsorships Secured: These sponsorships ensure that 57 children can attend Comfort Zone Camp at no cost to their families.
